populate index from FASTA file

## NAME

ffindex\_from\_fasta - populate index from FASTA file

## DESCRIPTION

USAGE: ffindex\_from\_fasta **-v** \| \[-s\] data\_filename index\_filename fasta\_filename

- **-s**

  sort index file

- **-i**

  use identifier as name (you probably want **-s** too)

- **-n**

  use incremental number as id (default)

- **-v**

  print version

ENVIRONMENT

  FFINDEX\_MAX\_INDEX\_ENTRIES - allocate memory for this number of entries
