Overview
Appindex is offline Freshmeat browser. It uses appindex.txt file downloadable from <http://freshmeat.net/backend/>.
Commands

Configuration file
Configuration file (/usr/local/etc/appindex.conf or ~/.appindexrc by default) is read by appindex at startup. You can specify few things here:
- Browser
commandline -
Specifies your favourite browser.
- Download
commandline -
Specifies download command. This is used to get appindex.txt from the net. See
AppindexURLkeyword.
- AppindexURL URL

Specifies remote appindex.txt URL. Use this if you want appindex to download appindex.txt from the net everytime you run it. Do not forget to erase local appindex.txt else appindex will preffer it.
- Color
whatforegroundbackground -
You can change color of NORMAL, SELECTED, HEADER, KEY, KEYTEXT, INFOKEY and INFOVAL. Valid colors are BLACK, WHITE, BLUE, CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, GREEN, RED or number
0-7.
