# fcft\_text\_run\_destroy(3)

free fcft\_text\_run objects

## NAME

fcft\_text\_run\_destroy - free fcft\_text\_run objects

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<fcft/fcft.h\>**

**void fcft\_text\_run\_destroy(struct fcft\_text\_run \****run***);**

## DESCRIPTION

**fcft\_text\_run\_destroy**() frees the **fcft\_text\_run** object *run*, which must have been created with **fcft\_text\_run\_rasterize**().

Note that it is ok to call **fcft\_destroy**() on the font object that was used to rasterize the text-run, before freeing the text-run itself. I.e. applications may cache text-runs beyond the life time of the font object.

*run* may be NULL, in which case **fcft\_text\_run\_destroy**() is a no-op.

## SEE ALSO

**fcft\_text\_run\_rasterize**()
