## NAME

dpm\_getifcevers - get DPM client version number

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<sys/types.h\>**\
 **#include "dpm\_api.h"**

**int dpm\_getifcevers (char \****version***)**

## DESCRIPTION

**dpm\_getifcevers** gets the DPM client version number.

## OPTIONS

- *version*

  points at a buffer to receive the version number. The buffer must be at least 256 characters long.

## RETURN VALUE

This routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the operation failed. In the latter case, **serrno** is set appropriately.

## ERRORS

- **EFAULT**

  *version* is a NULL pointer.
