convert old-style dpkg-cross installations

## NAME

dpkg-cross-convert - convert old-style dpkg-cross installations

## SYNOPSIS

**dpkg-cross-convert --test** **dpkg-cross-convert -a*arch* --purge** **dpkg-cross-convert -a*arch* *files*...**

## DESCRIPTION

**dpkg-cross-convert** converts old-style (0.x) dpkg-cross installations of libraries and headers for cross compiling to the new format used with dpkg-cross 1.x. For more information on this conversion process and the usage of **dpkg-cross-convert**, please see /usr/doc/dpkg-cross/README.Debian.

## OPTIONS

The program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (\`-').

- **-h, --help**

  Show summary of options.

- **-a, --arch *architecture***

  Install for architecture *architecture*. This option is mandatory, except for --test.

- **--test**

  Just test if an old-style installation is present (for any architecture).

- **--purge**

  Remove any remainders of an old-style installation, so that dpkg-cross can be used to install new versions of packages that couldn't be converted.
