create a new NFS-Root image

## NAME

diskless-newimage - create a new NFS-Root image

## SYNOPSIS

**diskless-newimage \[** *\<imagedir\>* **\[** *option* **=** *\<value\>* **\] ... \]**

## DESCRIPTION

This creates a new NFS-root image or updates an existing NFS-root image. It will prompt for any information not supplied on the command line. For more information, please see **/usr/doc/diskless/README.Debian.gz**.

## OPTIONS

- \<imagedir\>

  is where the NFS-root image is to be located. The path name **must** start with /.

- option

  is the option to set to the given value,  *\<value\>*.

- \<value\>

  is the value to assign to *option*.
