## NAME

dh\_clistrip - strips CLI debug symbols from package build directories

## SYNOPSIS

**dh\_clistrip** \[*debhelper options*\] \[**-X***item*\] \[--dbg-package=package\]

## DESCRIPTION

dh\_clistrip is a debhelper program that removes debug symbols from CLI libraries and applications.

dh\_clistrip deletes all \*.pdb, \*.exe.mdb and \*.dll.mdb files.

## OPTIONS

- **-X***item*, **--exclude=***item*

  Exclude files that contain "item" anywhere in their filename from being deleted. You may use this option multiple times to build up a list of things to exclude.

- **--dbg-package=***package*

  Moves the debug symbols to the specified package.
