# delo(8)

install boot loader

## NAME

delo - install boot loader

## SYNOPSIS

**/sbin/delo** \[-r *root*\] \[-f *config*\] \[-d\] \[*device*\]

## DESCRIPTION

**delo** installs a boot loader that will be activated next time you boot.

## OPTIONS

- **-r** *root*

This sets the root of the installation target. All files are looked up relative to it by delo. Point this to a ISO9660 image instead of a directory to create bootable CD images.

- **-f** *config*

This changes the config file name from the default /etc/delo.conf. Beware, the bootloader will still look for /etc/delo.conf on startup.

- **-d**

  Print debugging messages.

- *device*

This allows to override the boot device entry in the config file.

## FILES

/etc/delo.conf
