deblint - Check binary package for errors
SYNOPSIS
deblint debian-package
DESCRIPTION
deblint unpacks the package and checks the contents for satisfying various criteria. It lists Warnings and Errors on standard output
LIMITATIONS
If deblint is not invoked as superuser then the package cannot be correctly unpacked and the uid/gid checks are skipped.
deblint cannot check files that have been distributed over multiple packages generated from one source archive as debstd can.
