NAME
ddj - play mp3/ogg files listed in a MySQL database
SYNOPSIS
ddj [ options ]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the ddj commands. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has documentation in a README file; see below.
ddj (DigitalDJ) is an SQL based mp3/ogg player frontend. It is designed to work with grip(1). When grip encodes files, it can place all of the song information into an SQL database. DigitalDJ can then use this information to create playlists based on any number of criteria. Songs can also be manually inserted into the database using the mp3insert(1) command.
