## NAME

colorhug-flash - A firmware updater for the ColorHug colorimeter

## SYNOPSIS

**colorhug-flash** \[ **--verbose** \] \[ **--filename** \]

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **colorhug-flash** command.

**colorhug-flash** allows you to update the firmware on your Hughski ColorHug colorimeter.

## OPTIONS

This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (\`-'). A summary of options is included below.

- **--help**

  Show summary of options.

- **--verbose**

  Show extra debugging information.

- **--filename**

  Flash a specific firmware file.

  Usually colorhug-flash contacts the internet and downloads update metadata to work out the firmware file to use. This flag allows the user to use a custom image.

## ENVIRONMENT

Setting **COLORHUG\_EMULATE** will allow you to run this tool without any real hardware attached, although the program will fail when the flash write is verified.
