## NAME

chxid - assigns a context to a file

## SYNOPSIS

**chxid** *-c \<ctx\|vserver\>* \[*-RxU*\] \[*--*\] *\<file\>+*

## DESCRIPTION

-

  Options:

- **-R**

  ...  recurse through directories

- **-c**

  ...  assign the given context/vserver to the file(s)

- **-x**

  ...  do not cross filesystems

- **-U**

  ...  skip unified files
