# changeaudiocddev(8)

change the /dev/cdrom link

## NAME

changeaudiocddev - change the /dev/cdrom link

## SYNOPSIS

**changeaudiocddev**

## DESCRIPTION

[**cdtool**(1)](/cdtool/1.md) needs to know what the device name is for your audio CD-ROM. You can either make a link from */dev/cdrom* to your device, or you can set the environment variable **CDTOOLDEV** to the actual device.

This script will change the */dev/cdrom* link.

## AUTHOR

This manual page was created by Roland Rosenfeld \<roland@debian.org\> for the Debian GNU/Linux system (but may be used by others).
