## NAME

capng\_clear - clear chosen capabilities set

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<cap-ng.h\>**

void capng\_clear(capng\_select\_t set);

## DESCRIPTION

capng\_clear sets to 0 all bits in the selected POSIX capabilities set. The options are CAPNG\_SELECT\_CAPS for the traditional capabilities, CAPNG\_SELECT\_BOUNDS for the bounding set, CAPNG\_SELECT\_BOTH if clearing both is desired, CAPNG\_SELECT\_AMBIENT if only operating on the ambient capabilities, or CAPNG\_SELECT\_ALL if clearing all is desired.
