change case of text

## NAME

capitalize - change case of text

## SYNOPSIS

**capitalize** *-u\|-l\|-c*

## DESCRIPTION

*capitalize* is a filter that changes the case of text sent through it. It reads text from **stdin** and writes the result to **stdout**.

Please note that *capitalize* is intended mainly to be run from XView's text menu. It is used in the default **text\_extras\_menu**.

## OPTIONS

- **-u**

  Convert all characters to upper case.

- **-l**

  Convert all characters to lower case.

- **-c**

  Convert the first letter of words to upper case.
