# byobu-reconnect-sockets(1)

Sourcable script that updates GPG\_AGENT\_INFO and DBUS\_SESSION\_BUS\_ADDRESS in the environment

## NAME

byobu-reconnect-sockets - Sourcable script that updates GPG\_AGENT\_INFO and DBUS\_SESSION\_BUS\_ADDRESS in the environment

## DESCRIPTION

**byobu-reconnect-sockets** is a sourcable bit of shell code that will update the GPG\_AGENT\_INFO and DBUS\_SESSION\_BUS\_ADDRESS environment variables in the current shell, such that you may restablish connection to [**gpg-agent**(1)](/gpg-agent/1.md) and **[dbus-daemon(1)](/dbus-daemon/1.md)**.

This is often useful when reattaching to a detached Byobu session.
