# blackened-wserv(1)

a little program to be a pipe between a screen or xterm window to the calling irc client process.

## NAME

blackened-wserv - a little program to be a pipe between a screen or xterm window to the calling irc client process.

## SYNOPSIS

**blackened-wserv** *pid* *socket*

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

blackened-wserv is a.k.a wserv.

wserv gets called by an ircII based irc client.

Works by opening up the unix domain socket that an ircII based irc client bind's before calling wserv, and which the client also deleted after the connection has been made.
