# apachemodname(8)

print the names of Apache modules

## NAME

**apachemodname** - print the names of Apache modules

## SYNOPSIS

**apachemodname** \[ **--version** \] \[ **-f, --force** \] \[ **-n, --print** \] \[ *filename* ... \]

## DESCRIPTION

**apachemodname** looks at each existing *filename* given on the command line and prints the name of the Apache module corresponding to the file.

If *filename* is a binary object file, the name is looked up into the binary. If it is a source file, it is looked into the source code. If the name cannot be found by these means, it is guessed based on what ,I filename looks like.

**apachemodname** will only print names for files that it consider as Apache modules, not for other files.

## OPTIONS

Print the version of **apachemodname** and exit.

- **-f, --force**

Force considering any *filename* as a module.

- **-n, --print**

Print the *filename* and other informations before the module name.
