Add a database to the Postgres Database Manager

## NAME

aoladddb - Add a database to the Postgres Database Manager

## SYNOPSIS

**aoladddb** *\[options\] --addadmin*

## DESCRIPTION

This command is run automatically during the installation or upgrade of AOLserver.

It may also be run at any time by the sysadmin.

## OPTIONS

This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (\`-'). A summary of options are included below.

- **--addadmin**

Verifies that the admin (specified in the domain's AOLserver configuration file) has access permissions for the database manager. If not, it adds the administrator. **--aoladmin \[admin\]** The administrator to use. If not specified, the program will parse the domain's configuration file to determine the correct value. **--domain \[domain\]** Use the domain name "domain" **--dbname \[name\]** The name of the database to add.

- Technically there are other options, but they're best left undocumented.
