**acl\_delete\_flag\_np**(*acl\_flagset\_t flagset\_d*, *acl\_flag\_t flag*);

## DESCRIPTION

The **acl\_delete\_flag\_np**() function is a non-portable call that removes specific NFSv4 ACL flags from flagset *flags*.

## RETURN VALUES

The **acl\_delete\_flag\_np()** function returns the value 0 if successful; otherwise the value -1 is returned and the global variable errno is set to indicate the error.

## ERRORS

The **acl\_delete\_flag\_np**() function fails if:

- \[EINVAL\]

  Argument *flagset\_d* is not a valid descriptor for a flagset. Argument *flag* does not contain a valid *acl\_flag\_t* value.

POSIX.1e support was introduced in FreeBSD 4.0. The **acl\_delete\_flag\_np**() function was added in FreeBSD 8.0.
