# \_\_sk\_mem\_schedule(9)

increase sk\_forward\_alloc and memory\_allocated

## NAME

\_\_sk\_mem\_schedule - increase sk\_forward\_alloc and memory\_allocated

## SYNOPSIS

**int \_\_sk\_mem\_schedule(struct sock \*** *sk***, int** *size***, int** *kind***);**

## ARGUMENTS

*sk*

socket

*size*

memory size to allocate

*kind*

allocation type

## DESCRIPTION

If kind is SK\_MEM\_SEND, it means wmem allocation. Otherwise it means rmem allocation. This function assumes that protocols which have memory\_pressure use sk\_wmem\_queued as write buffer accounting.
