**WildMidi\_ConvertBufferToMidi (uint8\_t \**in*, uint8\_t *insize*, uint8\_t \*\**out*, uint32\_t \**outsize*)**

## DESCRIPTION

Takes a MIDI-like memory buffer as input and tries to detect, convert and write to a memory buffer in MIDI format.

- *in*

  The input buffer that contains MIDI-like content: XMI, MUS, HMP or HMI.

- *insize*

  The size of the input buffer.

- *out*

  The output buffer. It will be allocated with **malloc**() and must be **free**()d by the caller when it is no longer needed.

- *outsize*

  The size of the output buffer.
