# WdtpInterfacePointer\_UserMarshal(3w)

## NAME

**WdtpInterfacePointer\_UserMarshal** (OLE32.@)

## SYNOPSIS

unsigned char \* WdtpInterfacePointer\_UserMarshal\
  (\
   ULONG\* *pFlags*,\
   ULONG *RealFlags*,\
   unsigned char\* *pBuffer*,\
   IUnknown\* *punk*,\
   REFIID *riid*\
  )

## DESCRIPTION

Marshals an interface pointer into a buffer.

## PARAMS

*pFlags* **\[In\]** Flags. See notes.

*RealFlags* **\[In\]** The **MSHCTX** to use when marshaling the interface.

*pBuffer* **\[In\]** Buffer to marshal the clip format into.

*punk* **\[In\]** Interface pointer to marshal.

*riid* **\[In\]** Id of interface to marshal.

## RETURNS

The end of the marshaled data in the buffer.

## NOTES

Even though the function is documented to take a pointer to a **ULONG** in *pFlags*, it actually takes a pointer to a **USER\_MARSHAL\_CB** structure, of which the first parameter is a **ULONG**.

## IMPLEMENTATION

Not declared in a Wine header. The function is either undocumented, or missing from Wine.

Implemented in **"dlls/ole32/usrmarshal.c"**.

Debug channel **"ole"**.
