## DESCRIPTION

Convert a **STRRET** to a normal string.

## PARAMS

lpStrRet **\[Out\]**  **STRRET** to convert.

pIdl **\[In\]**  **ITEMIDLIST** for lpStrRet*-\>uType* == **STRRET\_OFFSET**.

lpszDest **\[Out\]**  Destination for normal string.

dwLen **\[In\]**  Length of lpszDest.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**. lpszDest contains up to dwLen characters of the string. If lpStrRet is of type **STRRET\_WSTR**, its memory is freed with CoTaskMemFree() and its type set to **STRRET\_CSTRA**.

**Failure:** **E\_FAIL**, if any parameters are invalid.
