## DESCRIPTION

Duplicate a string.

## PARAMS

*lpszStr* **\[In\]**  String to duplicate.

## RETURNS

**Success:** A pointer to a new string containing the contents of *lpszStr*

**Failure:** **NULL**, if memory cannot be allocated.

## NOTES

The string memory is allocated with **[LocalAlloc(3w)](/LocalAlloc/3w.md)**, and so should be released by calling **[LocalFree(3w)](/LocalFree/3w.md)**.
