```
 # Let SNMP::Info determine the correct subclass for you.
                        Debug       => 1,
                        # These arguments are passed directly to SNMP::Session
                        DestHost    => 'myswitch',
                        Community   => 'public',
                        Version     => 2
                        )
    or die "Can't connect to DestHost.\n";
 my $class      = $asa->class();
```

## DESCRIPTION

Subclass for Cisco ASA Devices

### Inherited Classes

- SNMP::Info::CiscoStats

  - SNMP::Info::Layer3

  ### Required MIBs

- Inherited Classes' MIBs

  See "Required MIBs" in SNMP::Info::CiscoStats for its own MIB requirements.

  See "Required MIBs" in SNMP::Info::Layer3 for its own MIB requirements.

## GLOBALS

These are methods that return scalar value from SNMP

- $asa-\>**b\_mac()**

  Returns base mac. Overrides base mac function in SNMP::Info::Layer3.

- $asa-\>**i\_description()**

  Overrides base interface description function in SNMP::Info to return the configured interface name instead of "Adaptive Security Appliance '$configured interface name' interface".

- $asa-\>**parse\_inetaddress()**

  Overrides base IPv6 method "parse\_inetaddress" in SNMP::Info::IPv6 because Cisco ASA doesn't conform to RFC4001 4.1 because it is missing the number of octets. Instead it is indexed like the CISCO-IETF-IP-MIB.
