## DESCRIPTION

Return a Unicode copy of a string, in memory allocated by **[CoTaskMemAlloc(3w)](/CoTaskMemAlloc/3w.md)**.

## PARAMS

*lpszStr* **\[In\]**  String to copy.

*lppszDest* **\[Out\]**  Destination for the new string copy.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**. *lppszDest* contains the new string in Unicode format.

**Failure:** **E\_OUTOFMEMORY**, If any arguments are invalid or memory allocation fails.
