## DESCRIPTION

Get a value from the registry.

## PARAMS

*hKey* **\[In\]**  Handle to registry key.

*lpszSubKey* **\[In\]**  Name of sub key containing value to get.

*lpszValue* **\[In\]**  Name of value to get.

srrf **\[In\]**  Flags for restricting returned data.

*pwType* **\[Out\]**  Pointer to the values type.

*pvData* **\[Out\]**  Pointer to the values data.

*pcbData* **\[Out\]**  Pointer to the values size.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **ERROR\_SUCCESS**. Output parameters contain the details read.

**Failure:** An error code from **[RegOpenKeyExA(3w)](/RegOpenKeyExA/3w.md)** or **[SHQueryValueExA(3w)](/SHQueryValueExA/3w.md)**.

Not defined in a Wine header. The function is either undocumented, or missing from Wine.
