## NAME

**SHIStream\_Write** (SHLWAPI.212)

## SYNOPSIS

HRESULT SHIStream\_Write\
  (\
   IStream\* *lpStream*,\
   LPCVOID  *lpvSrc*,\
   ULONG    *ulSize*\
  )

## DESCRIPTION

Call **IStream\_Write(3w)** on a stream.

## PARAMS

*lpStream* **\[In\]**  **IStream** object.

*lpvSrc* **\[In\]**  Source for data to write.

*ulSize* **\[In\]**  Size of data.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**. *ulSize* bytes have been written to the stream from *lpvSrc*.

**Failure:** An **HRESULT** error code, or **E\_FAIL** if the write succeeded but the number of bytes written does not match.

## IMPLEMENTATION

Not declared in a Wine header. The function is either undocumented, or missing from Wine.

Implemented in **"dlls/shlwapi/istream.c"**.
