**SDL\_SensorType SDL\_GetSensorTypeForID(SDL\_SensorID instance\_id);**

## DESCRIPTION

This can be called before any sensors are opened.

## FUNCTION PARAMETERS

- *instance\_id*

  the sensor instance ID.

## RETURN VALUE

( **SDL\_SensorType** ) Returns the

**SDL\_SensorType** , or

**SDL\_SENSOR\_INVALID** if **instance\_id** is not valid.
