## NAME

**RtlGUIDFromString** (NTDLL.@)

## SYNOPSIS

NTSTATUS RtlGUIDFromString\
  (\
   PUNICODE\_STRING *str*,\
   GUID\*           *guid*\
  )

## DESCRIPTION

Convert a string representation of a **GUID** into a **GUID**.

## PARAMS

*str* **\[In\]**  String representation in the format **"{XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}"**.

*guid* **\[Out\]**  Destination for the converted **GUID**.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **STATUS\_SUCCESS**. *guid* contains the converted value.

**Failure:** **STATUS\_INVALID\_PARAMETER**, if *str* is not in the expected format.
