## DESCRIPTION

Retrieves the type and data for a list of value names associated with a key.

## PARAMS

hKey **\[In\]**  Handle to an open key.

*val\_list* **\[Out\]**  Array of **VALENT** structures that describes the entries.

*num\_vals* **\[In\]**  Number of elements in *val\_list*.

*lpValueBuf* **\[Out\]**  Pointer to a buffer that receives the data for each value.

*ldwTotsize* **\[In/Out\]**  Size of *lpValueBuf*.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **ERROR\_SUCCESS**. *ldwTotsize* contains num bytes copied.

**Failure:** nonzero error code from Winerror.h *ldwTotsize* contains num needed bytes.
