## DESCRIPTION

Updates a hash object with the given data.

## PARAMS

*hProv* **\[In\]**  Key container to which the hash object belongs.

*hHash* **\[In\]**  Hash object which is to be updated.

*pbData* **\[In\]**  Pointer to data with which the hash object is to be updated.

*dwDataLen* **\[In\]**  Length of the data.

*dwFlags* **\[In\]**  Currently none defined.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **TRUE**.

**Failure:** **FALSE**.

## NOTES

The actual hash value is queried with CPGetHashParam, which will finalize the hash. Updating a finalized hash will fail with a last error **NTE\_BAD\_HASH\_STATE**.

## IMPLEMENTATION

Not declared in a Wine header. The function is either undocumented, or missing from Wine.

Implemented in **"dlls/rsaenh/rsaenh.c"**.
