## NAME

Pod::POM::View::Text - create text views of POM objects

## DESCRIPTION

Text view of a Pod Object Model.

## METHODS

- "view($self, $type, $item)"

  - "view\_pod($self, $pod)"

  - "view\_head1($self, $head1)"

  - "view\_head2($self, $head2)"

  - "view\_head3($self, $head3)"

  - "view\_head4($self, $head4)"

  - "view\_over($self, $over)"

  - "view\_item($self, $item)"

  - "view\_for($self, $for)"

  - "view\_begin($self, $begin)"

  - "view\_textblock($self, $textblock)"

  - "view\_verbatim($self, $verbatim)"

  - "view\_meta($self, $meta)"

  - "view\_seq\_bold($self, $text)"

  Returns the text of a `"B<>"` sequence in 'bold' (i.e. surrounded by asterisks, like \*this\*).

- "view\_seq\_italic($self, $text)"

  Returns the text of a `"I<>"` sequence in 'italics' (i.e. surrounded by underscores, like \_this\_).

- "view\_seq\_code($self, $text)"

  - "view\_seq\_file($self, $text)"

  - "view\_seq\_entity($self, $text)"

  - "view\_seq\_index($self, $text)"

  Returns an empty string.  Index sequences are suppressed in text view.
