## SYNOPSIS

## DESCRIPTION

- **Ns\_Encrypt**(*pw, salt, iobuf*)

  The Ns\_Encrypt function DES encrypts the specified key, perturbed by salt. The result is returned in iobuf, which should be at least NS\_ENCRYPT\_BUFSIZE bytes in size.
