## NAME

Net::pending - Return whether data is waiting at a socket.

## SYNOPSIS

**Bool pending(** *NetHandle h, Int timeout=5* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**h** The connection

**timeout** The number of seconds to wait for data before timing out (defaults to five)

## DESCRIPTION

Return whether data is waiting at a socket, returning true if so, and returning false if there is still no data after the timeout period.
