## NAME

**IsValidURL** (URLMON.@)

## SYNOPSIS

HRESULT IsValidURL\
  (\
   LPBC    *pBC*,\
   LPCWSTR *szURL*,\
   DWORD   *dwReserved*\
  )

## DESCRIPTION

Determines if a specified string is a valid **URL**.

## PARAMS

*pBC* **\[In\]**  ignored, should be **NULL**.

*szURL* **\[In\]**  string that represents the Url in question.

*dwReserved* **\[In\]**  reserved and must be zero.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**.

**Failure:** **S\_FALSE**. returns **E\_INVALIDARG** if one or more of the args is invalid.

**TODO:** test functionality against Windows(tm) to see what a valid Url is.

Declared in **"urlmon.h"**.

Implemented in **"dlls/urlmon/urlmon\_main.c"**.
