## NAME

**IsValidLocale** (KERNEL32.@)

## SYNOPSIS

BOOL IsValidLocale\

   LCID  *lcid*,\
   DWORD *flags*\
  )

## DESCRIPTION

Determine if a locale is valid.

## PARAMS

*lcid* **\[In\]**  **LCID** of the locale to check.

*flags* **\[In\]**  **LCID\_SUPPORTED** = Valid, **LCID\_INSTALLED** = Valid and installed on the system.

## RETURNS

**TRUE**, if *lcid* is valid, **FALSE**, otherwise.

## NOTES

Wine does not currently make the distinction between supported and installed. All languages supported are installed by default.

## IMPLEMENTATION

Declared in **"winnls.h"**.

Implemented in **"dlls/kernel32/locale.c"**.
