## DESCRIPTION

Change the modality of a shell object.

## PARAMS

*lpUnknown* **\[In\]**  Object to make modeless.

*bModeless* **\[In\]**  **TRUE**=Make modeless, **FALSE**=Make modal.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**. The modality *lpUnknown* is changed.

**Failure:** An **HRESULT** error code indicating the error.

## NOTES

*lpUnknown* must support the **IOleInPlaceFrame** interface, the IInternetSecurityMgrSite interface, the **IShellBrowser** interface the **IDocHostUIHandler** interface, or the **IOleInPlaceActiveObject** interface, or this call will fail.
