## NAME

IO::rename - Rename a file

## SYNOPSIS

**Void rename(** *String old, String new* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**old** The current file name (and path)

**new** The new file name (and path)

## DESCRIPTION

Rename a file, moving it to a new directory if necessary. If a file with the name *new* already exists, it will be replaced.
