## NAME

HTMLentities::lookupEntity - Look up the character number for a named HTML entity

## SYNOPSIS

**Maybe\<Int\> lookupEntity(** *String name* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**name** The entity name (for example **pound**  or **nbsp**  )

## DESCRIPTION

Return the character number for a named HTML entity, or **nothing**  if the name is not that of a HTML entity. This is mainly a helper function for the **XMLentities(3kaya)** module, though may occasionally be useful to call separately.
