## NAME

HTMLDocument::new - A new empty HTML document

## SYNOPSIS

**HTMLDocument new(** *Doctype doctype, String title* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**doctype** The document type declaration to use. HTML4Strict is recommended for now due to browser support issues.

**title** The title for the entire document.

## DESCRIPTION

Generates a skeleton HTML document with the specified Doctype and document title. The document title must not be empty. Operations on a HTML document are generally either performed on the document itself, or on its **body**  field.
