# HTMLDocument.addTableColumns(3kaya)

Add a new table column

## NAME

HTMLDocument::addTableColumns - Add a new table column

## SYNOPSIS

**Void addTableColumns(** *ElementTree table, Int num=1* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**table** The table

**num** Optionally, the number of columns to add. If omitted, a single column is added.

## DESCRIPTION

Add a new column to the table. The table must have at least one section with at least one row for this to work - a **HTMLDocument.RequiresElement (3kaya)** Exception will be thrown otherwise. Unlike most of the table functions, this function does not return the new elements created since they will be in different rows.
