## DESCRIPTION

Support for IDEA symmetric encryption using the **EVP\_CIPHER** API.

### Algorithm Names

The following algorithms are available in the legacy provider:

- "IDEA-ECB"

  - "IDEA-CBC"

  - "IDEA-OFB" or "IDEA-OFB64"

  - "IDEA-CFB" or "IDEA-CFB64"

  ### Parameters

This implementation supports the parameters described in "PARAMETERS" in **EVP\_EncryptInit**(3).
