Dist::Build::Core - core functions for Dist::Build

## DESCRIPTION

This plugin contains many of the core actions of `"Dist::Build"`.

### Delegates

- •

  copy\_file($source, `$destination`)

  Copy the file `$source` to `$destination`.

- •

  copy\_executable($source, `$destination`)

  Copy the executable `$source` to `$destination`.

- •

  manify($source, `$destination`, `$section`)

  Manify `$source` to `$destination`, as section `$section`.

- •

  mkdir($target, `$dir`, `%options`)

  This ensures the given directory exist.

- •

  tap\_harness(%options)

  This runs tests for the dist.

  - •

    test\_files

    The list of files to run.

  - •

    jobs

    The number of concurrent test files to run.

  - •

    color

    This enables color in the harness.

  install(%options)

  This installs the distribution

  - •

    install\_map

    The map of intermediate paths to install locations, as produced by ExtUtils::InstallPaths.

    verbose

    This enables verbose mode.

    uninst

    This uninstalls files before installing the new ones.

  dump\_binary($filename, `$content`, `%named_arguments`)

  Write `$content` to `$filename` as binary data.

  dump\_text($filename, `$content`, `%named_arguments`)

  Write `$content` to `$filename` as text of the given encoding.

  Write `$content` to `$filename` as JSON.
