# DR::Tarantool::StartTest(3pm)

finds and starts Tarantool on free port.

## NAME

DR::Tarantool::StartTest - finds and starts Tarantool on free port.

## SYNOPSIS

```
 my $t = run DR::Tarantool::StartTest ( cfg => $file_spaces_cfg );
```

## DESCRIPTION

The module tries to find and then to start **tarantool\_box**.

The module is used inside tests.

## METHODS

### run

Constructor. Receives the following arguments:

- cfg

  path to tarantool.cfg

### is\_version(VERSION\[, FAMILY\])

return true if tarantool\_box is found and its version is more than VERSION.

FAMILY can be:

- **1** (default)

  For tarantool \< 1.6.

- **2**

  For tarantool \>= 1.6.

### started

Return true if Tarantool is found and started

### log

Return Tarantool logs

### primary\_port

Return Tarantool primary port

### admin\_port

Return Tarantool admin port

### tarantool\_pid

Return **PID**

### kill

Kills Tarantool

### is\_dead

Return true if child Tarantool process is dead.

### DESTROY

Destructor. Kills tarantool, removes temporary files.
