## DESCRIPTION

Locate and advise a connection point in an **IConnectionPointContainer** object.

## PARAMS

*lpUnkSink* **\[In\]**  Sink for the connection point advise call.

*riid* **\[In\]**  **REFIID** of connection point to advise.

*fConnect* **\[In\]**  **TRUE** = Connection being establisted, **FALSE** = broken.

*lpUnknown* **\[In\]**  Object supporting the **IConnectionPointContainer** interface.

*lpCookie* **\[Out\]**  Pointer to connection point cookie.

*lppCP* **\[Out\]**  Destination for the IConnectionPoint found.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **S\_OK**. If *lppCP* is non-NULL, it is filled with the IConnectionPoint that was advised. The caller is responsible for releasing it.

**Failure:** **E\_FAIL**, if any arguments are invalid. **E\_NOINTERFACE**, if *lpUnknown* isn't an IConnectionPointContainer, Or an **HRESULT** error code if any call fails.

## IMPLEMENTATION

Not declared in a Wine header. The function is either undocumented, or missing from Wine.

Implemented in **"dlls/shlwapi/ordinal.c"**.
