## DESCRIPTION

Converts a unique identifier from its string representation into the **GUID** struct.

## PARAMS

idstr **\[In\]**  The string representation of the **GUID**.

*id* **\[Out\]**  **GUID** converted from the string.

## RETURNS

**S\_OK** on success **CO\_E\_CLASSSTRING** if idstr is not a valid **CLSID**.
