## NAME

CGI::setCookie - Set a cookie

## SYNOPSIS

**Void setCookie(** *String name, String value* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**name** The cookie name

**value** The cookie value

## DESCRIPTION

Set a cookie. This must be called before **CGI.flushHeaders (3kaya)** to have any effect. Remember that cookies are **not** available to the script that sets them.

For more flexible setting of cookies, use **WebCommon.setCookie (3kaya)** instead.
