## NAME

Builtins::byteLength - Length in bytes of a string

## SYNOPSIS

**Int byteLength(** *String s* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**s** The string to measure

## DESCRIPTION

Get the length in bytes of a String (allowing for multi-byte characters in a UTF-8 encoding).

   str = "Hello multibyte: "+Char(192);\
    l = length(str); // 18\
    ml = byteLength(str); // 19
